Nice pictures.  But some dehazing of the background would be beneficial to the pictures, I believe. 😊

Mongo agrees - these are excellent images John.

Also agree with Mfloyd's observation. They seem to need a touch more contrast on post processing; particularly #1 and 2.

nice work.

Thank you. Agree with the dehazing note. Actually my computer crashed while I was away and I had to have a new hard drive. I lost ALL of my PS and related plug-ins and had to go to the CC as Adobe said that even though my license was still valid (?) I could only use it for a 30 day trial!. I did notice the dehaze feature in LR but have yet to use it - this looks like an opportunity to investigate it's properties.

Hi Elsa, happy you agree. The computer wizards who recovered what data they could told me that in wiping the PS 6 out I still had one usage left on my license. However, it appears that Adobe is done with selling CS as a stand alone and you MUST use CC. I was quite upset (read: really pissed off) with this attitude, forcing me to go to the Cloud, but what are you going to do? Corporate greed is king.

John, welcom back and thanks for posting!

I would have too agree with the haziness of #1 and 2, but the dynamic captures of these fascinating creature makes up for the haze.  Also, as mentioned, you could dehaze in PP.

Sorry about your lost of the user license of CS6.  The dehaze function of LR should be as equally effective as that of CC.
