I'd like to say that my pp is ridiculously simple. I spend less than a minute in each image and the tools I use mostly after raw convertion are levels and smart sharpen.
Recently I learned the content aware tool to remove dirt and don't know how to work with chanels and layers.
During the raw convertion I've learned to use those controls as minimun as possible.
As we say around here, raining in the wet, maybe the selection of good light and camera/lenses are the most important part of the process.

I couldn't agree more. I do the basic conversion in Capture NX2 and then take the image into CS6 to "finish" it - very often this consists only of sharpening. A few images do require a little more, but only a  few; my ability with layers is rudimentary at best, and in general I take a very simple approach.
