These are from Finnmark, the northernmost part of Norway. Actually some parts of Finnmark never have summer in the climatological definition of the word summer. I enjoy this barren and desolate landscape and find it overwhelmingly beautiful.

Oh wow, i can see why. Great stuff. I've been to Norway twice, but never this far north.

It's a landscape made for landscape photography. Even the sheep understand the principle of the Golden Section and co-operate willingly by holding their pose  :)

Scotland and the Hebrides pop up in my mind. I know you are even farther North but I have not seen itwithmy own eyes.

The impact of long ice cover has shaped these fascinating landscapes.
