The weather here in Denmark is currently very nice. Here's a shot taken last weekend.

The sky looks like a fake backgroud! It is actually very nice...

Jørgen, what a lovely image! CPH and the industry sights are simply meant for IR!

Thanks for all the nice comments. I had never been there before, just went there with family for dinner and when I saw that view, I walked back to car to fetch the IR camera to take the photo above :)

Olivier: perhaps I should make a green version :D The only thing I've done is remove a few birds that looked more like dust spots.

I shouldn't have said that! :D To create that, Photoshop is needed and I have no clue about how to do it :) I guess I might have to Google a bit...

Nice one Jørgen! You have to do some extensive googling to master Photoshop, but how does one eat an elephant? One bite at a time ;)

Green version coming up. Less than 1 minute fix in PS, with a little extras throw into for good measure.

You *did* say you wished to make a green version :D

IR simply removes the rules, implied or explicit.

I like them both, but green it is for me - the removal of rules has certainly worked well in this instance.

Maybe I might remove a little of the fore ground to create a panoramic look, but that is just me.  Its nice with either format.

Thanks for creating that Bjørn. I was thinking about Olivers comment about the sky looking fake and make a sort of "green room" version with the sky and only the sky being very green, but my photoshop skills are at level 0.

Initially I made only sky green, but felt the scene looked worse that way. Thus went all in with enhanced greens everywhere, enforcing water ripples (very easy as the original had the ingredients present) etc. The red vegetation acts as a counterpoint to anchor the composition.

About trimming the foreground to make a panorama-lime frame, I decided against removing parts of it as it apparently is required to give breathing depth to the overall scene. Cut away and the scene becomes lifeless and flat, no depth at all.

By the way, learning to use a program such as Photoshop or equivalent (Gimp is freeware and quite capable; surely more alternatives exist) is well worth the time and efforts invested.
