called curly :o :o :o

aerobat:
interesting design - the aperture seems to have many more blades than usual.

Frank Fremerey:
Very interesting. Also the industrial solutions.

That could be Erlewine material

Bjørn Rørslett:
Possible interesting, but that web site has a truly bad design and the stuff is difficult to read. Just keeps moving around ...

Tristin:
Hopefully the new lens manufacturers keep popping up.  Interested in seeing tests of the Irix lenses as well as this one.  While Nikon cranks out the plastic AF lenses, perhaps we will get new quality metal manual focus lenses elsewhere.

On a side note, what is up with manufacturers not providing details on aperature blades for lenses?  From unknown manufacturers up to Zeiss, it is common.  Especially with a lens like this where they quite obviously are offering something unique in terms of the blades, you'd think they would mention it.
