not exactly an ektar but this is going to be sold in the coming camera bazaar for JPY200,000  :o :o :o (i know the shop and it is minded by snobby middle aged men)

Hmm...At least the aperture and the distance scales look friendly to the aged eyes of the targeted customers.  :D

Well Konica did have a reputation for making lenses whose quality was second to none.  Maybe worth the $US2,000 odd being asked. 

Don't think I willl put in a bid however - the Missus might function decidedly non-linear if she were to find it being smuggled into our tiny house!

Those were the days....Now imagine this camera combined with a scanner for analog to digital conversion and a computer with today's processing power but in the old days size (probably an antire apartment building). And then an image of the Scotland group carrying these cameras, going back to their apartment buildings for processing and publication. Sighh.
