The Roust
« on: December 26, 2015, 02:37:17 »
Taken last winter immediately in front of our old City Hall here in Toronto.
Depending on time and circumstances, Homeless persons are sometimes rousted by the police and forced to vacate their spots.
As I recall, this was during the pre-Christmas period when there were large crowds of shoppers filling this area, and so the Police were instructed to remove these people and their belongings from the sidewalks.
Converted to black and white in Photoshop.
motorized Nikon FA
Tokina ATX 80~200 2.8 AIS manual focus
Fuji 100 ISO colour slide

I shoot with film. That's film. F...i...l...m. You remember film. It was in all the papers.

Interesting composition.  Most black and white conversions from color slide film don't work out this well.
