Love candle power ... nicely done.

I love it that modern camera tech allows us to shoot in formerly unthinkable conditions.

And I love in this case the expression of his eyes, his mouth, his hands...
You are out there. You and your camera. You can shoot or not shoot as you please. Discover the world, Your world. Show it to us. Or we might never see it.

Love the atmosphere, composition, and pose. And, he even held still for you.

This fantastic image shows how natural the lighting of the candle is.  I remember that Stanley Kubric shot some scenes of "Barry Lyndon" under candle light using a Zeiss Planar f0.7 lens.  Thanks for the inspiration.

Thanks Bob and Akira

The wonders of instant feedback, this is the third try
1st attempt matrix measuring, got a very red image with no black background , auto iso 6400
2nd attempt , point measuring on the white spot near his hands, auto  ISO 1000 , still very red
3rd attempt, manual iso 1000, manual white balance 2500k, I liked it

Af was set to AF-C so I wouldn't disturb with the AF assistance light, it is a bit back focused, I started to notice the camera does that with incandescent light, and well, the candle light is even more red

Frank,
I'm not getting to see moments like this very often any more, it is an odd occurrence , he will usually be in his room ... loosing electric power was an odd thing as well, there was no rain, wind or any other weather related cause, I liked to see his concentration while working with the clay
