Spider shot is super - the blue-grey hue gives it an especially morbid tone which really works well.

Well done!  The back lighting makes the shot. The bodies of the Daddy-Long Legs out here are about half your size.

Yeah, the lighting really does it.  The spiders were a couple inches from a bathroom wall, I took the lenses hood off and used the onboard flash which hit the wall right above the spiders.  The only shot I have ever used onboard flash with!  Turned out great, no one ever suspects the boring location or flash.

That made me smile! I could would see this  story you so well  captured being somewhere  in a wild and never suspected the indoor bathroom... :)
