Crucifix
« on: October 28, 2015, 01:52:22 »
I am not religious but have a strong interest in religious symbolism, iconography and architecture - all of which can provide strong photographic images. In this case I have superimposed the crucufix, shot on a mountain-top in the Dolomites, with the interior of the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem.

I hope no-one is offended by this, and I wonder what the Christians among us think of the resulting image?

I am fascinated how the sun rays are going in different directions.

LOL

I was going to comment on that but the way you mention it is much better, perhaps the light is from a helicopter hovering right in front of the middle window

I like the image !

Thanks, Elsa.

Guys - as I'm sure you know, it is simply the "wide-angle lens" effect, and the resulting steep perspective. The rays of light, of course, are really parallel.
