Thanks for commenting, Akira. I think that the blooms are at their peak at the moment - the iris garden is looking beautiful, but VERY crowded after 10.00 when buses arrive!

All lovely photos, Mike! The flowers are well presented with lots of detail and good compositions and I particularly like number 3 with the painting/easel with tourist(?) in the background nicely OOF.

Thanks for commenting, Lance. So many Japanese bring out their paintbrushes and easels in the significant flowering seasons (cherry blossom, iris, etc.). I imagine it's a satisfying hobby.
