From her scarf and her clothing, and the length of the shadows, I am guessing that it is early morning and that it is still quite cold. Correct?
Thank you. We visited the park in late November when day time highs were in the 75-85 °F ( 25 °C +/-) range in the lower elevations of the park (Badwater, Furnace Creek), if I remember correctly. The Racetrack Playa, where this was taken, is relatively higher in elevation at 3608 feet (1130 m) and is quite windy. This picture was taken in early to mid afternoon. The wind was rather consistent and came across the playa brisk and chilly. I watched quite a few tumble weeds run the length of the playa. None of the rocks moved though
