Bravo Bjørn.
I would have made the same choice among the set you proposed. Because of the framing and the difference of attitude between the two women. Maybe also because of the absence of direct contact with the camera, which makes the photographic process absent from the scene and the image more authentic (not sure this came through as I intended!).

April, 1999. Just a few months before I got my first Nikon D1 and went all digital.

Congrats to you Bjørn. As a nature photographer without a jazz-habit, this is very well done! But just goes to show that if you know how to shoot, you can shoot absolutly everything. :-)
The whole series is beautiful, quallity work as always!

Congratulation... ! :-)
I found out that the irony of life is that you are often rewarded for actions or things that weren't exactly your "cup of tea", while most of your efforts were on some other path..!!!

Congratulations Bjørn, I think the selected image stands out by the expression in the younger artists face and its reflection.

This is a great achievement, Bjørn!  Congratulations!

As fan of Nordic contemporary music (from Jan Garbarek to Lena Willemark to Nils-Petter Molvael), I'm excited to know about your assignment that yielded national treasure.  Do you remember the album for which you worked for?  The ECM website is under re-construction now, and the artist search function is not offered.

Congratulations! The radiant smile and the difference in the expressions of the two performers make the selected shot the best of the bunch, imho. Also the use of the reflection is masterful.

Great series and serious achievement! Life is full of surprises...

I like the last one best.

Not to mention my favourite record label ECM.
