Jakov is the undisputed king of serendipity -- remember the 300mm capture you did in Slovakia?

Not in the same class, and just an ordinary exposure with the AW1 in a swift-flowing river. I set out to photograph the Water Crowfoot, but that was less easy than first thought. And due to low light levels, the AF action on the AW1 exhibited a determination of its own volition.

Still, an enjoyable if cold and wet experience :)

Pretty unsharp, with weird illumination of the church

This will probably be my, genuinely accidental, best unsharp photo of 2021 - but it's snowing around here so you never know..

Saw him walking past my kitchen window a few minutes after sunset today, went outside 20 meters ahead of him hoping for a frontal shot but he was faster than anticipated so we startled each other when I got in position. Rattled of a few quick shots but the first one was the “best” of the worst so to say haha.

Good news is that the Sony a7IV has no issues focussing after sunset at 600mm and f6.3, my Z6 would not have known what to do.

Cheers,
Jan Anne
