Rose from my garden, the photo is from yesterday, normally the flowers are bigger, but maybe because of the extreme heat, is smaller,

We have a small bird feeder attached to our front window. This song sparrow (Melospiza melodia) seems to be taking up residence. He chases away other birds, loiters for hours and even sleeps amid the food.

Hi Frank, I'm sure you've already noticed: unfortunately it's the bridge of the glasses and not the eyes. Aperture 1.0 seems to be very challenging.

in the viewfinder the focus was on her left eyball. later I noticed, that the diopter correction was wrong. In the following example the diopter correction was right and I could get nearly both eyes into focus at f/1
