The audience during the Bryan Adams concert at Spoorpark Live as seen from my roof terrace

Z9 AFS 300/2.8

At first glance I though I was looking at some kind of berries. Only later I realize it was people. Very cool effect. The play with dof and color composition are both interesting as well.

I'm curious, did you saw the image and went to get the gear or had the gear at hand and caught it on the fly?

Beautiful composition and visual interest Paco

You use the curtains hanging from the ceiling really effectively as compositional elements.  Nice!

I would have liked to see the photographer in action.   ;D

I agree with Akira
Hopefully someone in your sessions has taken some pics of you working
Modesty maybe prevents you sharing....?
;)

John G, love yours too.
I'm guessing your 300mm was already on the Z9 in the hope of getting some shots of performers on stage? But this crowd scene is the real star :)

I kind of like the gritty 'look' you have achieved here, Fons. Suits the scenery well.

Thanks Paco and Colin.

I had first a different camera and lens, but indeed saw the scene and took the Z9 and the VR 300/2.8

Another fisheye at the theater, shortly before the show.

I did direct the photo, position de camera and the people but I did not press the shutter so I guess, technically, this is not my picture? A dance teacher and choreographer called Clara did the actual shoot.

Anyway, I do like the result  :)

D5. 10.5mm 2.8 dx shaved in FX mode.
Super setup. Impressive that Clara managed not to get into the picture.

After Grand Teton/Yellowstone we rushed through Montana towards Calgary

Mobile shot of Calgary, nice modern city and there were no crowds anywhere

You might say Clara acted as a remote release :)
