For some time I have been looking for a nice D2h but never found a suitable sample, until last week. The seller didn;t know whether the camera was working as the owner died last year and he couldn't ask her.

Today the camera arrived. in a mint condition and at closer inspection the shuttercount was 1.280.

Immediately after I made this photo of a dying hollow oak in dense fog, I got called from the hospital that my Parkinson-afflicted friend was dying. I  just managed to reach his death bed before it was too late. R.I.P.
Beautiful tree, sad story, rest in peace, dear friend of Birna!

The seller did not understand a lot from camera's and so the price was based on the fact it couldn't be tested and with no guarantee, so at own risk.

Including the original mint strap, screen protector, original good working EN-EL4 and loader 75 €

I have not been very active lately. I'm hitting a no-inspiration patch at the moment. I still enjoy taking the camera for a spin.

Condolences  Birna.  Glad that you were there for him.  Lost two uncles to this pernicious disease - both had suffered head injuries as younger men.

Immediately after I made this photo of a dying hollow oak in dense fog, I got called from the hospital that my Parkinson-afflicted friend was dying. I  just managed to reach his death bed before it was too late. R.I.P.

Count me in. We'll make an uninspired pair when we team up late this month :(
