I haven't been posting much lately, on top of being busy with the end of the trimester, I have some discontfor  in my left wrist that doesn't let me shot for long, specially with heavier equipment. I'm sure it will get better with time and some care. This brings me to today's choice of gerar: d5300 ir and 35mm f2 ai.

there are people called "investors" whose main goal is to make as much money with a building lot as possible. Build fast and cheap sell fast and expensive. The Administration tries to make these people abide the law at least, politics tries to bring these people to at least caring a little bit about beauty and the neighbouring built environment. This is a fight "money vs beauty" and beauty loses too often...

A flat here typically costs 1 Million Euros. Building it is 400.000 or even less. All people in the city suffer from this uglyness in a prominent place for the next 50 years.

The price guarantees that the kind of people who live there are better off than most of us. To buy such a flat you have to belo g to the top 1% in Germany. Income rich is not enough. You have to need an inheritance on top of it.
You are out there. You and your camera. You can shoot or not shoot as you please. Discover the world, Your world. Show it to us. Or we might never see it.

A typically charmless modern development. You could have told me that it was here in Canada. There is definitely a malaise at work but I would not blame investors per se.

It is a certain kind of people looking at the built environment as Excel Sheets only
