Blue Jays are elusive but this one was too busy attacking an abandoned wasps' nest to care about me. The tree was on private property and so I could not get closer for a better angle.

Thank you Birna. It is a very social camera too i.e the loud shutter can be  a "conversation starter"  :D

The grey heron that we had gone to find was not at the park. My son insisted that I photograph a passing duck so that I would not go home without a photograph.
