I walk past this building every day on my way to herbaria revision work at the Botanical Museum, University of Oslo. It's very hard not to take yet another shot at the scene, since it changes all the time thoughout the seasons. I try to avoid, however I couldn't resist this last hanging leaf, though.

Z fc, Viltrox 56mm f/1.4

The geometric motif of this type is addictive.

In England, a bodge is a poorly made repair. It can be temporary but is not necessarily so. A bodger is one who often makes permanent, poor repairs.

Except it was not always so. Once upon a time, a bodger was a skilled craftsman who made the turned legs of stools and suchlike. Nobody knows the origin of the name. This gentleman (the aptly names Peter Wood) is a volunteer who demonstrates these old-school skills. All of his tools are manual.

Nikon Zf, 35mm f/1.8S.
