The Last Flower of Summer: New England Aster
« on: October 03, 2022, 02:58:20 »
This photographer loves flowers, yet as a photographer, not all flowers suit my photography. In the temperate climate here in western Michigan, Lower Peninsula, the last flower of the season that captures my attention is the New England Aster, which is blooming now. I’m not saying it is the very last flower to bloom each year, just that it is the last flower that interests me photographically. I include a photo of  theses flowers for those interested. Nikon Z7 II and the Noct 58mm f/0.95 lens.

I love asters they are the final chord of the summer, thanks Mike for showing, Chrysanthemums will follow but are exotic, imported plants!

I didn’t know this was the last flower of summer? But I love them too. They are so delicate and wistful.
