A walk some 15 min from home. There is a pine forest between the city and the beach.

  Z6, 16mm 3.5

Dreamy green atmosphere, I like it.

Thank you Tom
After all the time and images we spend together, I think it becomes more complicated to surprise each other. I have lost the ability to predict what will call attention in the forum for a while now. It also taught me to relax, enjoy, and let it fall where it may.
Thank you for all you so generously share.

Akira,

There were three of these youngsters in a pen by the side of the road I was driving on, and I found them charming. I learned a young donkey is called either a foal or a filly just like a horse. I was hoping for something more unique and appealingly donkeyish when I looked it up, but once again the poor donkey gets the short end of the stick, this time with hand me down names. They deserve better, don't you think?

Paco, yes it's hard to predict what pictures will make a positive impression. I post what I like and hope people like them too. Sometimes they do.

And, thank you too!

Tom, thank you for the details of the environment they are in.  This sounds rather sad, and, yes, they deserve a better treatment.  Hope they are intelligent enough to belong to the Pen Club.  (I know this is not so nice a joke here...)

In this situation, the pen was one hundred feet square and the young donkeys were well cared for. I was just riffing on the plight of donkeys in a more general sense. Sorry if I was unclear  :P
