Pleurotus pulmonarius?

Z6 + Z 50mm f1.8 S @ f4.5

You mean the spotty OOF ones near the top? Because the central and bottom ones ain't pleurotus for sure...

I mean the ones in the centre. I searched with Google Lens ...

Edit: I tried again more specific I think it's Physalacriaceae.

That's better, I was thinking of some kind of Armillaria, which is in that family. The number of fungi with that shape does not allow for positive identification without having live specimens to inspect...

The reason why I excluded the Pleurotus is that all Pleuroti have decurrent gills ( = gills running along the stem)

The chapel in the royal apartments at Conwy Castle, North Wales.
HDR in Lightroom.
You've succeeded much better than I usually manage Ian.
I love scenes like this, if you have any others from Conwy, feel free to share

I used to enjoy the magic of watching photographs appear on the paper in the developing tray. Now I am astonished that I can take photographs in such extreme darkness.

Thank you, Colin.

Believe it or not, that was my first attempt at HDR. It was also an act of desperation that turned out well. Two young children running amok and plenty of other tourists did not allow much time. It was readily apparent that I could not save detail in the windows and have enough detail in the shadows for a single photograph. Remembering HDR, I quickly made one exposure for the windows and another for the room that would allow reasonable sharpness with the in-body VR. Would you believe a third of a second? The two exposures were seven stops apart.

If by similar scenes you mean old interiors with stained glass windows then I humbly refer you to this photograph of the Savage Chapel in St Michael's Church in Macclesfield. It is reply #180 in May 2022.

If you want more of Conwy then I have a few and would be happy to share. It is a place that I visited many times in my youth and holds fond memories.

Lovely,  Ian.  Good use of the 'darkness' with the lights.
