I’m hoping that the ZF buzz will create a more dynamic community for Nikon presets. That site is nice, but rather overwhelming (and underwhelming) because there are no obvious places to start. A vibrant community could share experiences and make recommendations, etc - much like the Fuji communities.

A word of caution:

I have a few NEF(s) that had Custom Picture Controls that were attached in my D2H and D800 or in Capture NX2 that I can no longer edit as NEF(s) in Nikon Studio NX because the Custom Picture Controls are not available and cannot be removed. I also CANNOT revert these to the original state as recorded by the camera.

If and I say if Nikon was responsible I would be able to revert these NEF(s) to there original state as recorded in camera using Nikon Capture NXD or Nikon Studio NX. For this reason I strongly recommend archiving all NEF(s) that one deems worthy and never using any program that can edit the original NEF file on them.

Fortunately I have only 6 to 10 NEF(s) that are so damaged and they are of little importance to me. I can export these from Studio NX to TIF and JPG formats and edit those as limited by those formats. I have reached out to Nikon USA and they had no solutions to offer.
