Hi,
I recently acquired the AF Micro Nikkor 200mm f4. With the Z9 I am not finding image quality at 1:1 as good as I expected.
Interested to know what others have experienced.
Regards

The 200 ED-IF Micro holds up pretty well on 36Mpix systems like D810 so surprised it should not deliver on the Z9.  However not an easy lens to focus if you do it manually.

I but rarely use my copy of the 200 these days as it is too long for most of my studio work.

Thank you - I am only finding quality drop as I get to 1:1 magnification. Of course as you mention, quite hard to focus manually but using zoomed view in the viewfinder.

There are the ubiquitous 'macro' issues of camera shake and vibration to consider as well. Their significance increases exponentially with magnification.
