SIGMA 135mm f/1.8 DG HSM for Nikon F
« on: March 18, 2022, 21:04:57 »
This lens got me interested. The reviews are very positive but I'd like to hear of our members using it in real world.
My usage would be on the D850.

I have the 135mm f1.8 Sigma as well as the 105mm f1.4. Both are stellar on my D850. The lack of VR isn’t an issue for me. Both are well built, somewhat heavy. I always shoot them handheld.  Portraits, events, concerts etc. Focus is fast on both and tracking fast moving subjects isn’t an issue. I used the 135mm for a Runners World Magazine shoot and was very pleased as was the client.
Sigma has really improved their product quality over the years. Sigma’s Art lenses are superb. Made in Japan. I’m planning to purchase their 50-100mmf1.8 to use on my D500.
