[Theme] Humanoids
« on: November 02, 2022, 08:10:24 »
After a few years visiting and contributing, it's time to start a new topic: HUMANOIDS

Allowed is anything (trees, foliage, buildings, cars, shadows,  whatever) that has resemblance to a human or a human body part.

Resemblance to animals is not encouraged (but then some humans are animals!)

Let me start with this one:

The Shout

NIKON Df, 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6 AF-S VR Zoom-Nikkor @55mm

A hornet nest, you can  count several large hornets (I counted 9)

Ciao from Massimo

Since evolution has given us TWO ears and ONE mouth, we are supposed (me included) to be doing more listening than talking.

...and continue with this one:

Skull

NIKON Df, 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6 AF-S VR Zoom-Nikkor @200mm

BTW, contributed pics don't have to be "noir", they can depict happy, neutral,  or sad themes...

Perfectly on topic, my friend!

There's not only faces, here's another one:

Beaver

It's upside down, in normal orientation I would call it "Naked woman doing vertical asana"

Carving a tree cancer

A swelling in a tree trunk, probably a tree cancer, was carved years ago with humanlike features.

Humanoid(s) in a slice of Coppa

Coppa, aka Capocollo or Lonza (and Lonzino, and at least 10 more regional synonyms) is a kind of dried pork meat from the neck and shoulder of the animal.

Upon cutting slices, someone/something was staring at me from the plate...
