Driving back home to reach Valentine's Day with Ruth, I encountered a pounding of wet snow enroute. Visibilty for driving declined despite wiper running at full speed.

Yesterday almost all snow had gone. We started to think about a future spring. Oh well. Should have known better.

Agree on both accounts. Relax and close portrait Bent, feels warm and loving.

Fons, you have made very good use of your new toy. The flowers are beautifully presented.

Congratulations with your new toy.  I am very curious about your findings.  Is the lens chipped?

The image with the flowers is great !

Lovely snowy/icy contrast.

The lens renders this night scene with ease. Contrast isn't always the ultimate goal.

These Angenieux are special, and pricey on the used markets

Thanks Birna and Fons.

Special lenses indeed and prices go up.  One of the reasons is that these lenses work excellent on mirrorless camera's. Another reason is that it is increasingly difficult to find a mint copy.

My current sample is a mint one in the Canon FD- mount, and had a low price because of that mount, I guess.  Works perfectly with the  FD-Z adapter on the Z's.

The Ai-S 35-70/2.5-3.3 Angenieux is optically much better than the more 'flat' AF-D  28-70/2.6  version where compromises were made because of the AF construction and the fixed f/2.6,   Especially wide open the difference is evident.
