Parting with a camera is a good chance to get out of the box.
Akira:
As mentioned in the January thread of "Your Weekly Blog", I dropped my trusty SIGMA fp with the brand new Lumix S 5081.8 from the 6th floor of the emergency stairs to the 3rd floor. The lens went totally defunct, and I had to send my one-and-only camera body to SIGMA for the full inspection and possible repair. I will have to live with my 2nd gen iPhone SE as my only camera for at least a few weeks.
Rather than crying over spilt milk, I decided to take it as an opportunity to get out of the box. Here are some initial results.
Akira:
The last one from the first batch was also posted to "RGB" thread.
Here is the second batch.

Continue like that, Akira! I particularly like the touches of red. They’re well rendered. Did you process the images further ?

Bruno, thank you for the encouragement. Except for the one with carps, all images are jpeg files straight out of iPhone and only resized in PS. For the images with carps, I adjusted the contrast, exposure, highlight and the saturation of green in the color mixer.
Hugh_3170:
Akira, so sorry to hear about your Sigma fp and the new lens. Let us hope that the body can be saved. I wrecked a near new Nikon 28-300mm lens as a result of a fall a few years ago, so I unfortunately know how you must be feeling.
I am interested in the quality that you have got out of your iPhone - thanks for sharing with us.
