Photo Sabotage - Photo Op Denied
« on: October 10, 2021, 20:07:28 »
We've all been there; the person who just won't smile, the cat that looks away every time you focus on them, the dog that drools. You know, that moment you want to capture but your attempt is dashed before the camera focuses... Photo Sabotage! Oh not you? Well, I will proudly say it happens to me often! I was testing the D3x before the sunset after it's 1st return from the shop and this little hummingbird perched in front of me. It was drizzling so perhaps s/he was just tired. In any case, s/he allowed me to get closer and closer. I tried a few angles but the background did not make it easy at all, combined with the lighting, didn't make for the best photo. Sometimes, you just have to go with it and when s/he closed his or her eyes and stuck out that little tongue all of the failings of the photograph just kind of melted away.

My life as a photographer summed up rather well :D Sabotaged once again!

Perhaps you also have some photos that have been sabotaged? Please... Don't let me be the only one  ;D
