Wild lettuce in one of my terrace vases. A flying seed landed and grew up quite quickly.

Nikon 1V1 + FT1 + Meike 16mm tube + AFP-DX Nikkor 70-300 mm @175mm. In 35mm talk, it's 472mm (*)

Ciao from Massimo

(*) Found out a nice field in the EXIF data:  -ExifIFD:FocalLengthIn35mmFormat
That saves one to have to multiply by 2.7 the focal length to get the 35mm equivalent

The Nikon 1 has also a double actuation counter:
1) the regular shutter counter, that is  -nikon:ShutterCount    (Every camera from D70 onwards has this one, D1, D1H, D1X and D100 didn't have it)
2) The mechanical shutter count, that is  -Nikon:MechanicalShutterCount

Difference between the two is the number of electronic shutter actuations.

Nikon Z6 and Z7 have them too.
Since evolution has given us TWO ears and ONE mouth, we are supposed (me included) to be doing more listening than talking.

No plant life here yet, just Typha from last year (direct conversion with 300PF on D500):
