Fun page comparing 17 classic 25mm C mount lenses
« on: February 22, 2020, 06:06:26 »
Hi folks,
After taking stock, I realized that I had 17 old C mount cine lenses around 25mm, and having nothing better to do, I made a comparison of them all and put a gallery on my website. Of course these were designed for a diagonal of 14mm, and so to shoot them on APS-C is hardly kosher, but it is quite interesting to see what happens out of the designated zone. As usual I am shooting in search of interesting bokeh, and some of these guys have that in abundance. If interested, have a look:

Lovely comparison, Toby.  Lots of useful information too.

Personally I like the Dallmeyer 1 inch f1.9, as it is a-typical with the rest and creates a very nice 3D effect.

Thanks for posting.
