Fascinating trees Aguinaldo. 

They make me think of the book "The Day of The Triffids" by John Wyndham.  ;D

Never heard about this book until now. A post-apocalyptic novel from 1951 with killer plants in the plot!

I thought the same. After a couple of references here a finally got to read the book -I love it!- and this trees look like they can star moving anytime...
