My first pics with the Z6

At the Universal Islands of Adventure.
Manual focus with a Zeiss 25mm f/2.8 Distagon with a cpl filter.
I really don't like the absence of the green dot.
Other than that, the camera is a pleasure to use.
Battery lasts for 300 pics (RAW + jpg fine) with camera always turned on in viewfinder priority mode, so I'll need to carry 2 or 3 batteries for every photo session with it.

Thank you guys.
Funny that I saw a review saying that the battery can last up to 5000 pics!

Good stuff, as usual, Aquinaldo. I  don't think it matters what body you're shooting, the results always stand out.

Nice images -- as usual.

The battery capacity figure is a sheer 'numbers game' and way too dependent on the individual user and her/his work methods. If there is any consolation, I rarely get more than 200 frames per battery charge either on Z6 or Z7. Which actually is more than sufficient for my needs. I do have a spare battery for either camera, though.

Food for thought is my A7-series Sony (long sold off) only gave 80-100 frames per charge and the Olympus E-M1.2 perhaps 120.

Birna, are these figures for indoor or for outdoor usage?

I am guessing that as very new cameras in the market place that it is too soon to comment on summer vs winter battery performance for the Z6/7?

TIA.

All around, i.e. in- and outdoors. Did not see much difference. I'm restrictive with being outdoors in really cold weather these days as my lungs are acting badly up.

The Df does typically around 300-350.

Be careful! You have me mentally conflating all things "Df"(defibrillator), Norwegian (Laerdal) and numerical, 300-350 (joules) with a disaster in the making.  :-\ Take care of those lungs!
