D810 RAW images went from 40MP to 75MP but I do not know why

I am not sure why this happened but I noticed that my hardrive was filling up fast after games when I pulled the images off the camera and when I looked at my image file details I noticed that the files were 75MP now.  I looked in my older images and they were around 40MP.  I do not remember changing anything but I must have.  Any ideas what may have changed?

NEF: 14 vs 12 bit, uncompressed vs compressed -- check your RAW settings.
