The greatest thing about my iPhone is that when I encounter some nice light and a good subject, it is usually with me.

On its own. No exposure compensation.

That´s the advantage of it, but I still prefer a camera with a good lens.

I am very impressed by your image. I would not have guessed that it was made with a smartphone.

The camera in today's smartphones are quite capable.  Their image processors (powerful CPUs and the sophisticated algorhithm) can be more efficient than the ones in the dedicated cameras.

That said, the posted image is as enjoyable as the images Aguinaldo shoots with his Nikon DSLRs.  Thank you for sharing!

I like the composition and subject, but the hot yellow fantasy blotch in the distance is the tipoff(to me) that a smartphone made this shot, IMO. I'd like to see more 'highlight priority' in smartphone image processing.
