Reflexions
« on: July 19, 2015, 19:05:26 »
Spent a weekend with the wife in Helmond, a modern city in the South of Holland.
This is the castle, a little after the golden hour.

Taken with Nikon 1 V2, 6.7-13/3.5-5.6 at 13mm (about 35mm FF)
ISO 3200, F5.6, 1/6 handheld

Colorfull appealing night shot with very limited definition. Surly not big on the wall but a nice moody shot for a home presentation.

I like the processing, the subtle tones.

I like the blue Veronica (presumably V. longifolia). Fits nicely into the overall frame.

Thanks Frank.
What do you mean with limited definition?

Thanks Gary, there was not much processing done.
Noise reduction and clear view with DXO and than imported in LR with some minor tweaks.

Super nice. Colours are an important component in the overall end result.

Might be a Lythrum not Veronica, but that is immaterial to the photo.

There's a lot of elements to look at, quite complex but pleasant. I like it!

I saw that on the second capture, Fons. Been working a lot with Veronica lately so it kind of blocked my mental faculties... :D
