Just stumbled across NikonGear in a search for the best way to "chip" some of my MF Nikon lenses. I am using them with a D300 which I recently acquired used.
I have a number of MF Nikon lenses, all of which I obtained before I found out about the "chip" options available.
I have a long personal history in photography, beginning in high school, around 1960. I have used and owned Pentax, Leica, (M and R) Mamiya (2 1/4 square) and Nikon at various times. I have done black and white darkroom work at various times, and now just like making images that satisfy me personally.
I mostly do landscape and macro stuff.
I have a background in electronics and computers/IT so digital stuff is familiar to me.
I look forward to what I can contribute here, and what I can learn from others.
