Thank you very much. I couldn't find a CR1616 battery locally and bought a CR1620 instead (same 16 mm diameter, but 2.0 mm thick instead of the original 1.6 mm. Turns out it fits just fine, the recess in the camera is deep enough for at least 3 millimeter thick batteries since there is a spring in the bottom. Thanks.
