Meike battery icons mysteries ?
« on: February 07, 2018, 16:29:56 »
As you can see on this here photo, there is two icons
on my Meike battery grip (for d750)

I have a en el battery in the grip, no aa alkalines

Why is the only one bright and the other icon dimmed?
Both batteries are top charged!

Others;

anyone who can explain the features of the grip
- the chinese english in the manual was very hard to understand!
Does it show the actual time of day?

As you see the integration of the grip to my d750 is quite nicely,
beein such a cheap plastic gadget ;-)

Maybe you set the camera to use the battery in the attached grip first?

... of course. My bad. Didnt read the manual. Ouuch.

Its D12, you can choose. Looks like the grip choose to use its battery ;-)

What remains to find out, what will the battery icon on the right look like, when camera battery is empty....

Maybe (again!) you could remove the battery from the grip and use the one in the camera to see if another icon is lit?

No more battery talk, that horse is settled ;-))

I really, really NEED to get my head around how that remote of Meike works.

The manual is written in a very obscure chinese-english -- I reall cannot get what they are talking about...

Thanks!
