Newtown - Johannesburg
« on: July 20, 2017, 17:26:35 »
Newtown is a suburb close to the city centre of Johannesburg. One of the highways runs through Newtown as an elevated series of roads. Underneath these roads, artists have covered buildings and the roadpillars with some serious graffiti. Enjoy - Martin

Well captured, and quite colorful.

That being said, not all agree with what you captured. I don't support graffiti, even if some call it art. OTOH, your photos of it don't deface anything.  ;)

Nice captures, Martin!

I like the atmosphere captured in #1.  You captured a nice moment in #2.  To me, #3 is a great environmental portrait.

It is said that well drawn graffiti "art" keeps the walls from lousy scrawls.  Hopefully some of them (especially the one captured in #3) will have that effect.

The last one is really good!
I like graffiti so much that I would invite a graffiti artist to paint my wall :)
