Ballad of a horse or two

3 week old cuteness. I cant think of many baby animals that are not cute. Except a mosquito I think

Very cute, even adorable.

By the way, a wriggling mosquito larva is quite cute too. On a very small scale, of course.

The foal shot is really nice, wonderful soft morning light. Also the scratched film filter suits the subject.

Thank you Frank. In hindsight I think perhaps I should add a tiny bit of blur to the background scratch filter - to give some perspective

Scratched film filter, I thought one of Elsa's cats did that.

Awwwww,  sweeeet - but very nice portraits too. I would like to see #3 without the effects filter - it's a strong image - doesn't need it. Maybe just a slightly stronger vignette in the top two corners, to help keep the eye in the centre of frame.

Thank you Dave and Ron :)

Dave - I am at cross roads with my backgrounds - not finding my feet just quite right (yet- I hope)

You prefer this better? The original background was really very bad
