I like the crop, it is rather classical.

Is this a large crop? It seems to me that the eye is not sharp, rather the neck feathers (black and white).

Yes big crop plus was trying something else and camera shake possible 1/150 with a 300  lens..

Aahh ... yes i see. That is challenging.

Nevertheless, a pleasant bird portrait.
