Just documenting the stages of growth. This is new D500, DC105 f2 at f5.6 (not f2 using DC) . Now to learn how to PP the D500
. Soon the ants, bees and birds will notice the white blossoms and then some fun shooting.

Jakov, between 3.5 to 4 mtrs to the top of highest leaf. I'll see what I can do with a step ladder to get more interesting images with some Russian lenses and wides , ala Jakov.... lol

Interesting. We do have them in the botanical garden, but they grow very high, 8 to 12 Meters I guess, so fruit and blossom are way way up there.

Akira, I finally sold my last D200. I kept , and used, it since 2007 . Really tough call but it went to a very good home.
Elsa, many thanks. The squirrels are a real pain. They chase off the Flower/Sun birds and are very noisy. The also chew through the screens to get into the house. I like all of my cameras but the D500 feels great and I am slowly learning the camera. I am getting close to having all of my settings as I want them

I believe you - as I know they can be a handful here too - In nature they are cute, fun to watch and photograph, but ye - they are a tad boisterous

However much of a pain they may be, through your lens they make for beautiful photos!

Tom:
I am sure you will love the D500. My D4 is feeling a bit neglected since I got mine.
Lots of fun images. I love the clean, graphic nature of #2.
Cheers (funny, I just ate a banana a few minutes before I saw your photo..
