At the risk of boring you, here are some more shots of London at night.

Hi Anthony
.               I watched the Regent Street Angles pe placed and waited patiently for their illumination.
You have created a nice scene. They are a great spectacle.
New Bond Street gas a Peacock theme to their display, another nice spectacle.

Thanks, all, for your comments.

These were all taken with the D3s on a tripod, the first two with the 24-70 and the last with the 70-200 VRII.

The first was a 15 second exposure, which smooths the water nicely, the second 2.5 seconds and the third was 4 seconds, starting at 70 mm and smoothly zooming to 200 mm during that 4 second exposure.

Very little pp was applied, the essence of the photos was created by the shooting technique.

Night photography is a new venture for me, and it is a lot of fun.

My personal favourite is probably the second, as it captures my feeling about the madness of London Christmas shopping.
