Nicely contrasty and composed mono. The shape and light of the leaves make them look like small flames in a darker setting around them. Clever shooting !

I thought I'd like it when I say the photo on my phone. It's great! I love b&w and I love all the angles of the flowers. I have to agree it does remind one of flames.

The Araceae  (Arum Family) comes complete with  built-in "flames" or "reflectors" around their inflorescences. Very photographer friendly, but still only the raw material from which to forge a successful picture :D
