The editing for me is very suitable for the subject matter.
I like these - especially the last image

I'm too old to regard film as superior to digital. It all boils down to the image. and in this case, the title is perhaps better than the pictures themselves. Of the two, the last one is all right without too much of the spooky associations?
Sorry Knut, but having seen so much better from your hand, I cannot but wonder how your usual approach had turned out for this subject and scenery.

Just for the record; these pictures isn't edited at all, just cropped 1mm. This is how they turned out straight from the scan. So the beautiful F3 with Tri-x @1600 iso is definitely my new "dark" camera.

I won't argue if you really prefer the results, that is for sure. But I have had too many years with silver halide technology to feel enchanted by it.

Is Tri-X still made?
I enjoy the darkroom experience. I like printing B&W but I haven't shot film since about 2005 when I bought my first dSLR. Someday I'd like to do some printing. I'd like to shoot a little B&W 4x5. I'll never shoot color film again.
