Last drops of autumn, first bites of winter
« on: November 19, 2016, 23:07:25 »
For once the weather surprised me in a good way.
I went out just to get some fresh air, no great hope of great light, and instead was rewarded with a clear, sunny morning and a dusting of fresh show.
What started as a quick venture out became nearly a full day out - but without provisions!

Snowy hills = Alport Castles, Peak District.
Autumn colours = Ladybower Reservoir, Peak District.

Beautiful series Simone. I like how you you have processed them. #4, #5 look a bit warm; shot around sunset?

# 4, 5 and 6 were shot in the early afternoon - the sun was about 10-15 degrees high (it only reached 17 degrees at midday).
The temperature in # 4 and 5 is just as it looked; I have cooled the last a bit, perhaps too much.
