Curved Sensor Patent

Surely it must be a dished sensor not just a curved sensor ?

Any reference to the patent/link etc?

Probably some specialised cameras had a similar concept in the film days, using suction to keep the film in place. Memory of such stuff is quite faded now, though.

My Kodak Baby Brownie, the one I got for two quarters and two Cornflakes box tops had a curved sensor. That was 1958.
