2) Near Bridge of Orchy - David what is exactly the name of this place?

First - if you don't mind being corrected - it's the River Coupal. And the valley with the railway viaduct is Strath Fillan. (If Akira is still looking in, the Scottish/English word "'strath" - a broad valley - comes directly from the Gaelic "srath", and St Fillan was the person who brought Christianity to the region around 1300 years ago.)

I don't mind at all being corrected.
I always found funny and a  bit weird that the river's nane is the same as the brand of shutters. In fact, it is not.

Glen Orchy - to which I took Simone last week - was one of the places I had hoped to introduce to our members during Scotland 2016.  We were too busy with other things and never had the time, so I'm using it as an excuse to post some Glen Orchy images, shot just two days after Simone went home. This long valley is a gem, with conifer forests, grasslands, broad-leaved woodlands and a sparkling river with several waterfalls. I was concentrating on the trees.

Somehow my memories of Glen Orchy are a bit on the gloomier side... we did not have good luck with the weather, definitely need to come back next year.
